Tudor Black Bay Collection
Tudor’s on a roll with the Black Bay collection and this year it has added a whole string of new renditions for this ultra-popular timepiece. The one that got everyone talking is without any doubt, the Black Bay GMT with its blue and red bezel reminiscent of the Rolex GMT-Master.
This watch combined the blue from the Black Bay Blue with the maroon from the de facto Black Bay, and is very attractively priced, so will definitely give Pepsi lovers something to lose sleep over. Meanwhile, the Black Bay Fifty-Eight is another hot favourite, particularly among the existing Tudor customers, because of its refined proportions and design.
Breguet Marine Collection
Breguet Marine 5517BR
The new look for the Breguet Marine came out last year in the form of a grand complication model but this year the manufacture has unveiled three new variations more suited for daily wear. The Marine 5517 with time and date is available in gold or titanium, as well as the Marine Chronograph and the Marine Alarm La Musicale.
The gold models come with a beautiful wave-inspired guilloche dial while the titanium models have a sunray finished grey dial but all the pieces have a counterweight on the seconds hand done in the shape of the maritime symbol for B which obviously stands for Breguet.
Oris Big Crown Automatic
Oris Big Crown Automatic
Oris continued with its focus on functional tool watches. The Big Crown Automatic hits the spot in terms of design and practicality. Also very cool is the Oris Carl Brashear collection which has a new two-counter chronograph, along with the Diver 65 with a bronze bezel.
Hamilton Khaki Collection
Hamilton Khaki X Wind Auto Chrono Limited Edition
Hamilton presented a slew of aviation-themed Khaki models including the Khaki X-Wind Auto Chrono Limited Edition which uses a silicon hairspring, the Khaki Pilot DD 42mm, and the Khaki Field Mechanical 38mm. Paired with a sporty NATO strap, the latter is a superb value offer for a watch that could be worn every day.
Patek Philippe Aquanaut and Nautilus Collection
Patek Philippe Nautilus Perpetual Calendar Ref. 5740
Patek Philippe’s new Aquanaut and Nautilus models have not disappointed collectors. The Nautilus perpetual calendar ref. 5740 especially excited many of us with its refined proportions, while the bright orange colour scheme of the Aquanaut ref. 5968A gave us something to lose sleep over—of course there’s still black for those who can’t quite process a Patek dressed in orange. Fans of the Pilot Travel Time ref. 5524 now may look forward to a rose gold model which is paired with a smaller sized ladies model ref. 7234.
