Uniqlo might best be known for its unrivalled basics, but the Japanese brand has some real fashion bonafides. There was the longtime partnership with Jil Sander for its +J collection a few years back, for one. French designer Christophe Lemaire joined to helm the Uniqlo U sub-label just last year. And now, we get a first look at the upcoming (and hotly anticipated) fall/winter collection from London-based label JW Anderson. The 33-piece collection will drop this September, and damn it looks good.

The fabrics used here are the highlight of the collection. Wools, tweeds, tartans, and merino knits make up the majority of the men's, women's, and unisex pieces—all ideal for fall and winter wardrobes. Jonathan Anderson, the founder of JW Anderson, also played with colours and prints here and there, adding in pops of yellow and orange to a neutral-heavy line. The pieces range from sweaters and T-shirts to bags and duffle coats, and everything costs less than $150. Not too shabby.

While we all wait for their arrival in stores and online, here are a few standout pieces to whet your appetite.
