When: Saturday, 18 February 2018 at 1am Singapore time.

Why this matters: Christopher Bailey has helmed the creative direction for Burberry since 2001 and this February collection will be his last before he steps down in March. During his time at Burberry, Bailey has seen through a couple of initiatives that has since paved the way for changes in the fashion industry. One of which was the decision to release collections immediately after showing them on the runway and gave rise to the ‘see now, buy now’ movement. The February 2018 collection will see Burberry's return to the traditional seasonal calendar but a special capsule collection will be released post-show.

What to expect: The rainbow check. Christopher Bailey has announced that his last collection will be “dedicated to and in support of–some of the best and brightest organisations supporting LGBTQ+ youth around the world”. A teaser on Burberry’s Instagram revealed the brand’s iconic check being infused with colours of the rainbow, a motif that’s synonymous with the LGBTQ+ community as well as a symbol of joy and inclusiveness.
