'Dawn To Dusk' Music Playlist #4 - Gentle Bones
What tunes inspire the solo Singaporean singer-songwriter for the day?
BY Derrick Tan | Apr 11, 2018 | Music
This week for our 'Dawn to Dusk' music playlist, we spoke to singer-songwriter Joel Tan. Who's that? We know him by his moniker, Gentle Bones, instead. The soulful crooner churns out smooth R&B vibes on his records, but the songs that get him grooving for the day may surprise you. (Hint: It involves swag)
Tan recently dropped a joint studio album, B4NGER PROJECT, with his buddy, MYRNE (Manfred Lim). As the first local artist to be signed on with major record label Universal Music Singapore, Tan was hailed by BBC as Singapore's answer to Ed Sheeran. The star has risen and continues to shine brightly for this talented young musician. For more nuggets on how the B4NGER PROJECT started, read our interview with Gentle Bones and MYRNE.
