Catch The Best Of French Cinema At The 2017 French Film Festival
BY Wayne Cheong | Nov 3, 2017 | Film & TV
Ah, the joys of French cinema. From the last scene of Truffaut’s The 400 Blows to the deadly stoicism of Alain Delon in Melville’s Le Samouraï, it is always a plucking of the emotive strings for viewers. At this year’s French Film Festival, patrons will be treated to 16 films (like Back to Burgundy shown above) that will be shown across three theatres. This will be the closest thing to the French experience apart from a night out at a French restaurant. Très bien.
The 2017 French Film Festival will run from November 9 to 19. Films will be shown at Shaw Theatres Lido, Alliance Française de Singapour and The Projector. For more information on films and ticketing, click here.
