Tmall product showcase at the Singapore launch of 11.11 Global Shopping Festival

I’m sure we are all familiar with the hysteria of Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Reason: The countless deals that are worth giving up sleep for. Unsurprisingly, this phenomenon also occurs in China on Singles Day (which started in 2009) and we in Singapore are able to join in the fray on 11th November.

Tmall, China’s largest B2C (business-to-consumer) platform for brands and retailers under Alibaba Group has launched the annual 11.11 global shopping festival for Singapore consumers. From home & living to lifestyle and fashion, Tmall gathers about 100 reputable Chinese brands for the festival and offers a slew of promotions to entice us.

In addition, the platform recently rolled out a flash sale program on Mobile Taobao, providing us with curated products at attractive prices. A number of the products featured will come with free shipping, and merchants of certain furniture items and home fixtures will offer the option of direct shipping and installation. How’s that for service?

Access to the festival will begin on 11th November at 00:00 and ends at 23:59 on the same day through Taobao Marketplace or Mobile Taobao (iOS and Android), the flagship mobile shopping app of Alibaba Group.
