We love being connected to our stuff. It’s comfortable and secure but these links can often entangle us, trip us up. We’ve taken out the middleman that is wires when it comes to our phones; Apple has cut the cord with its AirPods. Companies that see the value in the severance are shilling wireless versions of headphones. But who can truly claim to offer buds that are not only wireless, but also block out noise? Sony can.

The brand fits 6mm drivers into plump, bumblebee-sized earbuds and they sound clear as day; for 6mm Dynamic Drivers, you can distinguish the highs from the mids with a bass that sometimes rolls off the low-end. And they’re comfortable even after prolonged use… but that’s not saying much since the battery life is about three hours. So, it’s a good thing then that they come with a carrying case for on-the-go charging (said case has nine hours of battery life). Still, these Sony wireless earbuds have grown on us so much, we’re unsure if we’ll ever be able to part ways with them.

Sony’s True Wireless Noise Cancelling Earbuds (WF-1000X) retail for SGD349 and are available at all Sony retailers.
