They’ve been slumbering, tucked in comfortably in a historic warehouse kept under sea level in Islay. The waves of Loch Indaal crash against the sea-facing wall of Bowmore’s No. 1 Vaults, the oldest whisky-maturing facility in the world, as the elixir ages beautifully in sherry and bourbon oak casks. After five years, the age statements are back in the bottle, a trio of 10, 15 and 18 Year Olds are up for the offering in this global travel exclusive. The 10 Year Old sings of salt, dark fruit, walnuts and spices; the 15 Year Old matured in bourbon casks reveals a smooth, peat-smoked palate shot through with citrus; and the 18 Year Old, luxuriating in Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, is a divine melding of chocolate, rich coffee, dates and macadamia nuts. Very distinct characters, for different moods and occasions.

The Bowmore 10 Year Old, 15 Year Old and 18 Year Old are exclusively available from DFS.
