Get Reacquainted With Familiar Tastes At NATIVE
All you need is...here.

Oftentimes, we cast our eyes far and away not realising the wonders that can be found in our own backyard. Surprised that not many people have capitalised on that, Vijay Mudaliar set up NATIVE with the sole purpose of tapping into local and regional resources. From the drinks to the barware and the décor, almost everything has a touch of the provincial.
Take the collection of spirits that NATIVE has: Ceylon Arrack from Sri Lanka, rum from Chalong Bay, Amrut whisky from India, patrons will be amazed at the spirits that we have in Asia. The cocktails are unique as well, like the much-spoken about Antz, made from Thai rum, aged sugarcane, coconut yogurt and black ants that Mudaliar forages in Thailand. And try Red Light District, a drink that’s inspired by our own local banio with pink dragon fruit water kefir, rose aperitif, basil seeds and tongkat ali... yes, that natural testosterone booster.
Mudaliar’s efforts paid off: at the recent The Bar Awards, Mudaliar nabbed Best Bartender of the Year and Most Creative Cocktail Bar, further cementing what a wonderful concept NATIVE is; one that offers a window to a whole other world that’s just around us.
NATIVE is located at 52A Amoy Street. It is open from Tuesday to Sunday, 6pm to midnight. For more information, call 8869 6520.
