You can't talk about Middle Eastern cuisine without mentioning “kebabs”. This iconic grilled meat dish appears in almost, if not, all menus of restaurants serving Middle Eastern food. Singapore's Fat Prince is one of these restaurants but with an upcoming collaboration, its menu is about to get a little more push to its envelope.
Fat Prince’s co-conspirator is Le Bab that hails from London’s Carnaby Street. With a takeover of its kitchen, there will be a unique curated lunch and dinner menu for two days only— 28-29 November.
This pop-up will feature the Le Bab Bhajis, comprising of braised lamb shoulder and beef shin, coated in deep-fried onion, with a chilli mayonnaise; Endive and Pomegranate Salad with chicory, shallots and sumac. On the kebab side, there's the iconic Paneer Kebab garnished with beetroot coconut puree, curry mayonnaise, and crispy onion rings, the signature Chicken Shish served with garlic toum and honey, cassava chips and pickled daikon, and the 15-hour Pork Shawarma Kebab with gravy and crackling. As a fine finish to your meal, try the Spiced Crème Brulee, Le Bab's take on the classic dessert.
The Fat Prince x Le Bab menu is available on 28 and 29 November, for lunch from 11.30am to 2.30pm and dinner from 6.00pm to 10.30pm at 48 Peck Seah Street, Singapore 079317. Book online for the Fat Prince x Le Bab experience or contact 6221 3683 for more information.
