Recently, Panerai held an exhibition in Florence in the Basilica of San Pancrazio, entitled “Dive Into Time”, which consists of collection of watches from its historical days until their very latest collection. If that is not enough, they also launched their very first minute repeater. The grand complication is housed in a Radiomir 1940 case in red gold, with a black skeleton dial with luminous blackened hands. The power reserve is at nine o’clock, flying tourbillon is at 11 o’clock and the GMT is at three o’clock. What makes this minute repeater outstanding is its ability to chime at both time zones. The movement is a classic hand-wound mechanical movement with two barrels and four days of power reserve.
