The Montblanc Augmented Paper

All Montblanc boutiques
There was a time when mankind wrote on paper, took a picture of it with his mobile phone, and delivered it electronically to a recipient. Man, how ancient was that, amirite? The Montblanc Augmented Paper exudes simplicity as you literally work your penmanship seamlessly between analogue and digital. Penhaligon’s Portraits Collection
Penghaligon store at #03-16, ION Orchard
This season, Penhaligon’s brings us a series of scents inspired by a fictional aristocratic Victorian family. Our favourite of the quartet comes from “Lord George”, the purported head of the household, with base notes of brandy and shaving soap said to mirror those of a Turkish bathhouse that inspired founder William Penhaligon to start his perfume empire. We also love the bottle caps with animal motifs and the illustrations on the packaging by Icelandic artist, Kristjana Williams, who has given Victorian engravings a modern twist.
Berluti Shoe Care Kit
SGD3,400 with leather case
Berluti boutique at Ngee Ann City
There’s no excuse not to moisturise—leather is living skin and will grow dry and brittle if neglected. Take it from us: a shoe care kit is the one necessity that every wardrobe definitely shouldn’t be without. This extravagant version by Berluti is housed in a case made of its famed Venezia leather. Inside, you’ll find tins of cream, wax, brushes, cloths, a buffing glove, a leather mat, a shoehorn and a manual. All you need to do is set aside 30 minutes every fortnight to show your shoes a little TLC. This is the gift that we hope Santa will leave under the tree for us on Christmas Day.
