Your First Look At The New Saint Laurent Is Here

The brand has finally broken its social media silence.

Two and a half months after Saint Laurent named Anthony Vaccarello creative director, the first images from the designer's debut campaign for the house have arrived—and they're a big tease.

The stark black-and-white photos shot by Collier Schorr—with videos directed by Nathalie Canguilhem—feature a cast of new faces, but reveal nothing about the actual clothing. Though not a jarring departure from the slick campaigns of Vaccarello's predecessor, Hedi Slimane, who photographed his own (often in black and white), the minimalist vibe of the new images and videos is vaguely reminiscent of '90s Calvin Klein.

The below videos are among the first to be posted to the @ysl Instagram account after it was wiped of content following the announcement of Vaccarello as creative director. It's a new era, indeed.
