The Black Adidas Boost NMD Runner Looks Completely Badass
Worth the wait.

In 2013, Adidas released its first shoe with the brand's now-signature Boost technology. Since then, the futuristic foam has been hailed as the biggest innovation in shoe tech since Nike Air. But even though Boost is a huge hit, its color options have been limited, with a choice between white and... white.
Rumours about coloured foam have been circulating for some time, but it's finally coming to fruition. As Complex reports, Adidas has released—via an Instagram shot by photographer Jason Henley that was picked up by the @BOOST vibes Twitter account and retweeted by Adidas global director of entertainment and influencer marketing, Jon Wexler—the first images of the brand's NMD Runner with a black Boost sole.
Take a look at that shoe. It looks like it should be worn in some near-future cyber punk film about a parkour master. It looks like you'd give up using Uber and just run to all your underground warehouse parties. There's no release dates for the shoes yet, but they may be available as soon as May. Oh, and the Japanese text translates to "Three Stripes brand." The more you know.
