These Two Traits Are More Important Than Good Looks When It Comes To Attraction

As a man who painstakingly plonks a blob of expensive putty on your hair every single morning, you have every right to feel irresistible.
But it turns out there are two other attributes that could be wreaking havoc with your overall attractiveness.
We're talking about your stank, broseph. And your vocal chords.
According to a small review paper published in the journal 'Frontiers in Psychology' on Thursday, scent and voice tones are just as important as good looks when it comes to the dating game.
According to CNN, the paper's authors reviewed 73 studies on attractiveness, dated between 1977 and 2017, to examine the importance of visual, auditory and olfactory features. The research was led by Agata Groyecka of the University of Wroclaw, Poland.
Researchers discovered that attractiveness isn't usually based on one factor, but a combination of many, with body odour and voice playing a big part.
"Some odours are not only rated as more pleasant but also sexier, and therefore, they are likely to make people eager to flirt or date. Similarly, unpleasant odours can be discouraging to engaging in a relationship," Groyecka said.
In terms of voice, researchers found that vocal cues help others judge your sex, age and dominance, as well as strength and fertility.
"Although the literature about human's voice and olfaction has grown rapidly in past decades, we were not surprised to find that the biggest share of papers regarding attractiveness focuses on physical appearance," Groyecka said. "Olfaction and audition are largely neglected in reviews about attractiveness."
