You Don't Know Love Until You Call In A Fake Bomb Threat On Your Girlfriend

No matter how romantic you think you are, you'll never be able to top Danesh Gomanie. Gomanie, a true romantic, allegedly called in a fake bomb threat to prevent his girlfriend from boarding her flight out of fear that she would reconnect with her ex. And they say true love is dead!
According to Gothamist, 33-year-old Gomanie called 911 on July 27 to report that his girlfriend, who was flying to Guyana on the 29th, was in possession of "a bomb and/or drugs." The woman, who has not been named—but who probably just wanted a couple days away from her maybe-psychotic boyfriend—was not allowed to board her flight. In subsequent FBI interviews, Gomanie admitted he was worried that his girlfriend might reconnect with her ex-husband, who lives in Guyana.
Gomanie reportedly called 911 from his cell phone using the name "Singh" and provided his girlfriend's real name and flight number. FBI investigators traced the phone number back to Gomanie's father's home in Queens. His father reportedly told the FBI that the woman "Singh" accused had the same name as his son's girlfriend.
Perhaps the most surprising element of the entire saga is that instead of breaking up with Gomanie and filing a restraining order like a more rational person would, the woman is dismissing the actions as "just jealousy." She told the Daily News, "We're back together. I forgive him."
Gomanie's father had some less forgiving words for the couple. "I don't know what they see in each other," he told the Daily News. "I told him to find someone younger and have children." Classy.
