Damon Albarn shared two new Gorillaz songs today, "Andromeda" with D.R.A.M. and "Saturnz Barz (Spirit House)" with Popcaan. As he told MistaJam of the upcoming album, Humanz, before debuting the tracks:

"Simply put, we're in transition. We're turning into something else. The album kind of came from this dark fantasy ... which was just imagine the weirdest unpredictable thing happening. How would you feel on that night? We were imagining the idea of Donald Trump ... That was our dark fantasy and unfortunately it became reality."

The day before Donald Trump officially became the President of the United States, Damon Albarn's influential Gorillaz project returned. Called "Hallelujah Money," the first Gorillaz song in six years, addresses Trumpian politics with the lyrics, "When we go to bed / Scare crows from the Far a-East / Come to eat its tender fruits / I have thought that the / Best way to protect our tree / Is by building walls."

Two months later, on Albarn's 49th birthday, he's released more new Gorillaz music. This week, a tracklist leaked, which shows songs featuring Vince Staples, Pusha T, Danny Brown, Mavis Staples, De La Soul, D.R.A.M., and more.
