It's Pretty Clear Who the Worst Member of The Defenders Is in This First Trailer
Luke Cage has zero time for Iron Fist's nonsense.

The Marvel/Netflix TV universe hit its first real roadblock earlier this year with the largely misjudged Iron Fist, but the first trailer for its team-up series The Defenders looks promising as hell. Mostly because it puts Krysten Ritter's Jessica Jones front and centre.
The opening moments of the trailer find Jessica under arrest for stealing evidence and interfering with a police investigation. Thankfully, Matt "Daredevil" Murdock (Charlie Cox) shows up as her legal representative. But their first meeting is nowhere near as satisfying as when Luke Cage (Mike Colter) is underwhelmed in his introduction to Iron Fist himself (Finn Jones). "You're what?" Cage asks when Danny Rand introduces himself as "the immortal Iron Fist."
So say we all, Luke.
Sigourney Weaver also shows up as the mysterious maybe-villain Alexandra, telling the foursome: "The more connections you have, the easier it will be to break you." The War for New York is here, and the only hope is for this dysfunctional quartet—"the Devil of Hell's Kitchen, the smart-ass detective, the righteous ex-con, and the kid with a glowing fist"—to find a way to work together. Presumably with the help of a lot of hard liquor.
Marvel's The Defenders hits Netflix on August 18.
