Man at His Best

5 Reasons 'Captain America: Civil War' Is Probably Going To Be The Best Superhero Movie Of All Time

With the release of Civil War, we're about to hit peak Marvel.

Another superhero movie you say? Yes, but this one is going to be the biggest ever.

Captain America: Civil War hits cinemas 28 April and it's predicted to be the highest grossing film of the year, if not ever.

Why so big? Here's why...

1 | Spider-Man makes his MCU debut

British actor Tom Holland will don the tightest onesie you have ever seen (Iron-Man gag!) as Spider-Man makes his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut. About time too. After much toing and froing between Marvel and Sony Pictures, who own the rights to Spider-Man, a deal allowing Spidey to appear in the MCU will please comic book fans. And, of course, increase ticket sales.

2 | Say hello to Black Panther

Civil War is the start of a colossus three years for Marvel and the introduction of new characters. Like Spider-Man, Black Panther makes his MCU debut, played by American actor, screenwriter and playwright Chadwick Boseman. If you thought Spider-Man's introduction to this movie was huge, the introduction of the Black Panther is going to be bigger. His stand alone film is scheduled to be in cinemas in 2018.

3 | Joe Russo and Anthony Russo are directing

The brothers are behind the best Marvel film to date - Captain America: The Winter Soldier. The directing duo are also taking over Joss Whedon to direct the Avengers: Infinity War films. They are very good at this directing lark and will make the latest Marvel outing very special indeed.

4 | Superheroes everywhere

The film has been dubbed 'Avengers 2.5'. Iron-Man, Captain America, Spider-Man, Black Widow, Falcon, Hawkeye, Scarlet Witch, Ant-Man, Black Panther, Vision and Bucky Barnes will all appear in the film. Could you cram anymore costume clad superheroes on a big screen?

5 | Good vs good standoff

Typical movie plot line. Good vs evil. Big fight scene. Good beats evil. Not this one. We get to see Iron-man fight Captain America so the plot will go something like this: Good vs good. Big fight scene. Enter evil bad guy. Good and good get together and fight evil. Confused? You will be. Just enjoy the ride.

Captain America: Civil War is out Thursday, 28 April.
