Turning it on is like a magic trick. Open the book and light pours forth. It’s aesthetically pleasing, especially when it comes to its functionality: prop it up like an open book, or bend back the covers until they meet and hang it like a lantern.
Its minimalist approach garnered a 2015 Red Dot Award for product design. The cover is made from durable water-resistant Tyvek and its pages contain a high-performing LED that charges on a lithium polymer with eight hours of constant use.
Try as you will to find an answer as to how they fit lights within the spine of the book and you’ll be left stymied. At least, you don’t have to look so confused in the dark.
