Weekend Agenda: Stuff To Be Outside For
Funny people, the gay agenda and a weird giant kiwi to look forward to this weekend. And if that doesn’t do it for you, another way to spend your money.

1 | Singapore Improv Festival
How does Who’s Line Is It Anyway sound for the weekend? Anyone remember that show? Well you’re out of luck, they’re not here. What you will get instead are a bunch of talented local teams putting up shows, workshops and even battles, all in the name of improvised, totally unscripted theatre. That means you’ll get to torture them too with ludicrous scenario suggestions and prompts. Spanning this whole weekend from June 3-5, you’re guaranteed for three nights of side-splittin’. You might also see a member of our team on stage.
2 | Pink Dot 2016
Look forward to a sea of pink this Saturday as the eighth Pink Dot rally takes place at Hong Lim Park. And instead of the usual nighttime light up, attendees will be holding up placards collectively during the day with inscribed messages of support. Expect the ever popular Community Tent with all your networking and support needs, along with a wide array of performances during the concert. Foreigners, as usual, can only observe the actual demonstration on the side whilst still being totally welcome to participate in the Community Tent, enjoy the concert and get informed by the Community Voices segment. Remember to wear pink and send waves of love to the smatterings of white!
3 | Zespri SunGold KiwiFest
Even bears and otters need a bit of vitamin C after the previous night’s revelry. Zespri returns this year, with its weird dancing giant kiwi mascot, on Sunday 5th June at the Empress Place Jubilee Lawn. Start off with a vinyasa yoga class led by MC Swtklr at 8.30 in the morn, then carry on with pilates with eternally enthusiastic YouTuber Cassy Ho of POP Pilates fame, then round it all off with a picnic of 800 complimentary Sogurt froyos topped with pieces of Zespri kiwi. Other Zespri related noshes including a breakfast bowl from our favourite guys at Park Bench Deli will also be available. And if you’re still grumpy, there’ll be a positivity patrol including that weird giant Kiwi going about the place aiming to make you just a smidge more positive. Yeah, we can so totally feel it.

Colony Clothing sale
If all of that takes too much effort to participate in, there’s always retail therapy.
