"[McGraw] obviously loves the country," Trump said on Sunday during a Meet the Press appearance. Because who hasn't had that feeling of loving America so much you just need to kick the living crap out of someone else?
While Trump has said at numerous rallies that he would pay the legal fees for anyone helping to silence protesters — and also has said he would like to punch disruptors himself — this is the closest Trump has come to putting his money where his mouth is. "I've actually instructed my people to look into it, yes," he told host Chuck Todd.
As for McGraw, after the incident, he said if it happened again he might actually kill the protester.
So now Trump not only encourages violence, he is willing to pay for it. Remind me: How will this make America great again?
