Watch This Dad Prank His Son With Tesla's Autopilot
Self-driving cars offer new possibilities, such as the potential to pull epic pranks.

Self-driving cars offer a world of new possibilities: shorter and less stressful commutes, potentially fewer accidents, and just an overall cooler world. But one perk we hadn't considered yet was the potential to pull some epic pranks.
This poor kid was sitting in the family's Tesla Model S, playing with his phone and waiting for Dad to sit behind the wheel and drive when all of a sudden the car started to move. "No, no, no. Stop, stop, stop," he said fairly calmly before letting out a loud, "DAAAAAAD!" and starting to panic in earnest.
After about 20 seconds, the car stopped and the kid's father opened the door with a mocking laugh as Mom yelled in the background, "Gotcha!"
Tesla's Summon feature uses autopilot to park the car in the garage or move closer to the driver, but Dad must have neglected to tell his son about the upgrade.
Best of all, this Father of the Year filmed the prank with hidden GoPro and put it on the Internet where it will live forever. Thanks, Dad.
