This week, a man won a Micronesian island resort with a raffle ticket worth USD49—less money than it usually costs for a night at a hotel.

The man, who is only being identified as Joshua from New South Wales, Australia, is the new owner of the 16-room Kosrae Nautilus Resort on the island of Kosrae. The original owners, Doug and Sally Beitz, decided to raffle off their business of two decades because they want to move back to mainland Australia to spend time with their grandchildren, according to CNN.

And instead of trying to sell it for a profit, they decided to go the non-traditional route of raffling it off in hopes they would find an owner passionate about island life and not just someone with deep pockets. They wrote on their website: "Enabling the average everyday working person excites us."

"We feel like a new chapter in our lives is beginning, and we're ready to pass the baton to someone else," co-owner Doug Beitz told CNN. "We've had our time in the sun and enjoyed a career most people would never even dare dream about, but our current goal now is to become professional grandparents.”

According to their site, there were 75,485 entrants who signed up to win the business, which they claim is debt free, profitable and already fully staffed. They announced the winner Tuesday on Facebook. Their message for the new owner? "Your life is about to change in a very special way!”
