Looking to push beyond limitations, challenge perceptions, create progress and celebrate innovation, Samsung's new campaign, called "Beyond Barriers", features personalities like American cyclist Kelli Samuelson, designer Henrik Vibskov and activist Alek Wek to showcase their latest flagship phone, the S7. The first set of this campaign involves these stunning range of photographs showing the personalities in their element.
The American cyclist and all-female cycling team owner, Kelli Samuelson has ventured into many uncharted territories for female riders setting herself as a role model. Despite a hip injury that held her back from racing with a lengthy rehabilitation, Kelli seeks to break the traditionally male-dominated cycling world. For someone who spends her entire day on a bike, the world rolls by quickly and with the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge's camera, she can capture these quick moments and save every memory as clear as the moment.
Designer Henrik Vibskov who believes in constant reinvention uses technology and innovation to inspire his work. With the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge's Gear VR and Gear 360 capabilities, it allows him to channel new ideas and creativiy to a new level of creative freedom.
South Sudanese supermodel, author and activist Alek Wek who has come a long way from a bloody civil war that led her to flee her native country at age 14 and take refuge in the UK looks to Samsung’s status as a relentless innovator in their industry, as they’re not afraid to be the first or to be a pioneer. Rewriting the fashion world’s idea of beauty, Wek defies the imposed limits and create meaningful progress within the fashion industry.
But this is just the beginning. We're told that more exciting news is expected in upcoming months. It's so hush-hush, this is about all we can reveal.
